Kilimanjaro Climbing Faqs

everything you need to know

No, it’s not. Climbing Kilimanjaro requires no technical expertise or equipment. This makes it more accessible than any of the other Seven Summits worldwide. That is why any decently fit person can summit the mountain. Others might feel it is one of the most challenging things they would have done.

Kilimanjaro has seven unique paths to the summit. We suggest considering the eight-day Lemosho, seven-day Machame, or nine-day Northern Circuit routes. These paths provide an optimal mix of impressive views and a good chance of reaching the top.

You can Climb Kilimanjaro any time of the year. However, the most favourable times to ascend are between June and October and December through March. These periods are noted for their warm and dry conditions.

You can expect wholesome and fresh meals made daily using local ingredients by our dedicated chef and his aide when coming for Kilimanjaro Climb.

Our meal plans are crafted to ensure the dishes are tasty, easily digestible, and energy-boosting. On your journey, you'll enjoy a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, and snacks, coupled with constant access to purified water.

On this Climbing Kilimanjaro adventure, there are no regular showers. Instead, you'll get warm water to wash your hands and face. For more cleaning, we suggest bringing wet wipes.

Moreover, each camp has a private tent with a toilet. There are also basic ground toilets, but they might be dirty. If you need to go while hiking, find a hidden spot. Ensure to carry a bag for used toilet paper to throw away later.

For women, consider using a tool like a Shewee to pee standing up. A special cloth, like the Kula Cloth, can also be helpful.
